Pet Shop

The Pet Shop is located in the Plaza, to the left of The Stage. At the Pet Shop, players can buy Puffles, pet furniture, and other pets. They can also play Puffle Roundup here. When walking up to the Puffles or clicking the red book, the “Adopting and Caring for Your Puffle” manual appears and one can adopt a Puffle for 800 coins from it (you can also adopt Puffles for free from the treasure book after redeeming a toy code). If players click on the Yellow Book, the “Love your Pet” appears, from where the Puffle owner can get furniture items for their Puffle(s), recently Club Penguin has programmed puffles to play with it. There is also a goldfish visible but it can not be bought. Puffle Roundup can be played by going through the back door.

Trivia:

• Penguins can use the Pet Shop Staff Apron here.
• Many Mwa Mwa Penguins and dogs named uppies stay here to be “adopted”.
• Franky would still be working here if he didn’t become a member of the Penguin Band, puffles like him.
• There has been a couple of penguins who like to play to be the manager. In the case they would hire other penguins to help run the Pet Shop. (Security, Pet Feeder, etc.)
• The doorknob has a 1 on it.
• There is a glitch with the doors. On the outside there’s one door, but on the inside there there is two.
• If you hover over the Pet Shop puffles and Goldfish you will see them either; bounce, jump, etc.

Parties:

• During the Medieval Party 2008 & 2009, the Pet Shop looked like a stable.
• During the 2008 April Fool’s Day Party, the shop was cut out of paper.
• During the Paper Boat Scavenger Hunt 2009, a boat was hidden in a water dish.
• During the Puffle Party 2009, the outside of the Pet Shop looked like a Medieval Party tent and all of the puffles inside were dancing. There were puffle spotlights too.
• During the Sensei’s Scavenger Hunt, if you click on the sleeping black puffle you would get a hair as one of the fiery items.
